The Canterbury story
The Canterbury story started back in 1904 when three English expats began making woollen garments in New Zealand’s Canterbury province. Because they were so well made, Canterbury quickly developed a reputation for quality; so much so, that the government enlisted their help during World War 1 making uniforms for Australian and New Zealand troops. Then the All Blacks asked us to make them an official team kit and from there Canterbury soon became a household name.
