Canterbury was established in 1904 by three English immigrants who moved to the New Zealand province of Canterbury and began manufacturing woollen garments for the local clothing market. With a reputation for high quality and extreme durability, they were soon asked by the Australian and New Zealand armies to make uniforms during the Great War. Then a few years later, the All Blacks rugby team asked for an on-field kit and the iconic jersey with the CCC logo was born.
