The Canterbury journey
Canterbury’s story started in 1904, when three English expats first began making woollen garments in NZ’s Canterbury province. This clothing was so well made and so durable that the reputation of the three Kiwis quickly grew. So much so that, during the First World War, the New Zealand and Australian governments asked them to make uniforms for the troops. Then a few years after that, the All Blacks rugby team requested an official on field kit and the CCC logo was cemented in New Zealand sporting history.
Today, Canterbury makes a comprehensive range of clothing that includes performance, compression and supporters wear, boots, on-field apparel and men’s, women’s and children’s casual wear.
