The Canterbury tradition
Canterbury was established in 1904 in the NZ province of Canterbury by three English immigrants who began making a range of tough woollen garments for the New Zealand market. The quality of their work was so high that their reputation grew rapidly and they were asked to make uniforms for the Australian and New Zealand armies during World War I. Then years later, the All Blacks rugby team asked them to make them an official uniform and the famous three Kiwis logo was born.
Fast forward seventy five years and the Canterbury name is now famous across the world.
